Makeup v1.0
ppe for PCBoard v15.0+
As much as we appreciate income, this program is FREEWARE. We cannot demand
payment for a product that's the culmination of some 50 different programmers'
work. This version happens to be by Atlantis Software.
Atlantis BBS 706-776-9276 28.8
Disclaimer: None whatsoever. No one here is silly enough to
believe that we have to worry about a program like
this doing any damage whatsoever to your software,
system or scruples.
If anything weird happens, you got hold of a
modified (probably sabotaged) version.
Description: Will force all users who have not completed the
information for the address PSA (if installed) to
do so.
Will force all users who have not completed the
informtion for the verification PSA (if installed)
to do so.
The user can fill in the missing info (except line
2 of the street address) or log off automatically
(BYE - no argument).
We tried to keep it friendly but firm - not
insulting, just businesslike.

Installation: Recommended: in the field for the logon script
questionnaire.
1. Create a directory for the MAKEUP.PPE files
They may be in a common ppl/ppe directory,
since the filenames are all similar.
2. Unzip (or move) all MAKEUP.PPE files into
the designated directory.
3. Start PCBSETUP
4. Select "B File Locations"
5. Select "D New User/Logon/off Questionnaires"
6. Select "Name/Loc of Logon Script Quest."
7. Enter the complete path to and include "MAKEUP.PPE"
8. Hit "ESC" to back out, until asked
"Save configuration files (Y/N/Q=Quick Save) ?"
9. Answer "Y" or "Q" to save the change.
You may put it anyplace you like, of course - on a
display file, as a command, or whatever - see PCBoard
docs for ideas. Just remember that this ppe will FORCE
the user to answer the questions or logoff - there is
no return to the board if the questions are not answered!
Modification: Do as you like with it, just please don't post your version
as "makeup", or with anything inside or accompanying it that
may lead others to believe that it's ATLANTIS SOFTWARE's
version v1.0 compiled 3/26/1996 (check the filedates).
Distribution: Pass this version around all that you like, include it in or
with whatever you like, just don't peddle it with our name in
or with it. Anyone dishonest enough to sell other people's
software will, if we catch them, pay a lot more!
Support: We can't imagine what we could help you with on something this
simple, but we're here, and you're welcome to check us out.
